Chairman

Wafa Kadri, RBC Royal Bank

Wafa Kadri is Manager, Community Investment, Alberta and the Territories with RBC. She is currently responsible for overall management of RBC's sponsorship marketing and philanthropic efforts in the region.

Raised in Calgary, Alberta, Ms. Kadri started her career with RBC in the retail branch network and expanded her experience to include roles in a diverse array of functions including operations, marketing, and communications.

Ms. Kadri has a passion for continuous learning and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, graduate level courses in Educational Research, and a Certificate in Corporate Community Involvement from Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Ms. Kadri is an active member of the community where she works and lives and past volunteer experience includes Junior Achievement, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Muslim Council of Calgary. She can also be found volunteering in her local community in support of her son's activities. She is currently Chair, of the board of directors of the Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation and sits on several local and international advisory committees.
