Chief Super-intendent Connects with Community Partners

It was encouraging for many in attendance to hear Naomi Johnson speak of her vision for ongoing community collaboration, as it is a vision shared by CBE partners. Kevin Reeves, President and CEO, Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation says, "As one of the invited guests I felt very honoured to be a part of a community that will usher in a new era in Calgary's public schools. As a partner of the CBE our work at the Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation will support, facilitate, and enrich the experiences of our children. We look forward to continuing to support the work of Naomi and her colleagues as they build upon the history and success of the CBE."

8th Annual RICOH Links & Legends

Charity Golf Tournament

Thank you Calgary !

The Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation in partnership with our title sponsor RICOH would like to thank you for your participation in our 8th annual "Links and Legends Charity Golf Tournament" held on August 17th at Valley Ridge Golf Course. With the tremendous support we received from our community along with our sponsors we were able provide a truly memorable day on the golf course.

On behalf of our Tournament Chair; Tim Flaman, and our Honourary Chair Dave Dickenson from the Calgary Stampeders, we would like to extend our gratitude to you for making a very real difference for the 170,000 students that benefit from our programs each year.

The "Links and Legends" tournament is the primary annual fundraiser for the Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation and one that is successful because our community believes in supporting public education. This year, with your help the tournament raised $105,000 truly a remarkable achievement and one we can all celebrate together.

Many thanks, and please know that you helped us help the kids. We look forward to seeing you again at our tournament next year.
